Linda Kay Garner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Kay Garner of Carlyle, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Garner (Turner) and Jerral C. Garner of Grand Prairie. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca (Christopher Talles) of Rockford Illinois, Two; her brothers, John Brink (Carolee) of Lufkin, TX. and Mark Brink (Randy) of Champagne, IL.; and her grandchildren, Jake Berry (Ashley) of Carlyle, IL., Thomas Hobbs III (Autumn) of Salem, IL., Caitlyn Hobbs (Khalid) of Rockford, IL. and Chyna Hobbs (Quan) of Rockford, IL.. She is also survived by niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and even great-great nieces and nephews, numerous prayer partners, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nordike Funeral Home (740 Fairfax St, Carlyle, IL 62231). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlyle Township Cemetery.
