She is survived by: her husband Micheal Essington of Carlyle; her children, Kyle Essington (Katie) of Granite City, IL, Crystal Matt (David) of Waukee, IA, Destiny Piper (Corey) of Sandersville, GA, Steven Essington of Carlyle, Ayla Essington of Champaign, IL, Blake Essington of Carlyle, Caleb Essington of South Co, MO and Emmett Essington of Carlyle; her grandchildren, Jensen Fifer, Eden Matt, Artemis, Ambrosia Piper, Elijah Essington, Savannah Gold and Myley Gold; her siblings, Rose Taylor (Jesse) of Carlyle, Betty Meskil (Ed) of Carlyle, Peggy Cooley of O'Fallon, IL, Iva Miller of Florissant, MO, Ruth Rakers (Keith) of New Baden, IL, Ralph Cooley of Pocahontas, IL, Richard Cooley (Louis) of Export, PA and Raymond Cooley (Linda) of Walnut Hill, IL; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Kohrman of Bartelso, IL, Elvin Essington of Beckemeyer, IL, David Essington of Carlyle and Jerry Essington (Brenda) of Carlyle. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
