He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack W. McQuade and Hilda McQuade (Hilgemann); his siblings, Leonard McQuade Ray McQuade (Linda), Paul McQuade and Eileen McQuade; his nephew David Varel; his niece Regina McQuade; and his great-nephew Andrew McQuade.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edward McQuade (Margie) and JoAnn Varel (Bill); his sisters-in-law, Susie McQuade and Karen McQuade; his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kristi, Kyle McQuade, Brian, Lisa, Michael, Robert McQuade, Carol Garner, Nancy Stessman, Barbara Bathon, Theresa Goscinski, Kathy Blankenship, Kent Varel, Layne Varel, Laura Brady, Jill Varel, Anne Boedges, Stephanie, Jason (Machell) and William McQuade (Natalie); and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by grand nieces, grand nephews, good friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Zieren Funeral Home (1111 Clinton St, Carlyle, IL 62231). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Felicitas Church (13322 Church Rd, Carlyle, IL 62231).
