We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Juanita D. Johnston of Carlyle, Illinois, born in San Francisco, California. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Johnston; her children, Debra Mevis and Don Liccio; and her siblings, Anthony Alhona, Adelaide Jackson (Robert), Louise Fulton (Dean), Raymond Alhona (Chris) and Richard Alhona.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Liccio of Las Vegas, NV and Diana Smith (Dean) of Carlyle; her son-in-law Bruce Mevis of Pahrump, NV; her brother Dan Alhona (Tina) of Applegate, CA; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Alhona and Patricia Alhona. She is also survived by grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to NorSled (Northern California Sled Dog Rescue) http://www.norsled.org and also will be received through Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the family.
