We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2023 we had to say goodbye to John R. Cummins of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Sandoval, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Cummins and Theda Cummins (Powless); and his siblings, Jolene Flanagan, Shirley Miller, Virginia Norris and Wesley Leon Cummins.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Orrell; his children, Charles Wesley Cummins (Vicki), Debra Thorson and Bobbie Sue Beck (Daron); and his siblings, Mickey Cummins (Patty) of Odin, Richard Cummins (Christy) of Sandoval, Darlene Goodin of Centralia and Tonya Davis (Terry) of Quad Cities. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in John's honor to Clark Cemetery and will be accepted for the family at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval.
