With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Carlisle of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Russellville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 25, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Carlisle and Ina Esther Carlisle (Crowder); and his sister Patricia Grindstaff. He is survived by: his children, Stacey Carlisle of Meadowbrook and James; his daughter-in-law Toni Carlisle of Elsah; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Kayla, Brent, Brandon, Brittni, Danica and Dylan; his granddaughter-in-law Betty; his grandson Everett Runion of South Roxana; and his brother-in-law Bill Grindstaff of Wood River. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; a sister.
