He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Cox, Sr. and Kathryn Cox; his brother Charles Cox (Pattie); his sister-in-law Frances Flowers (Larry); and his niece Ann Pollmann.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sister Ann Zeisset (Bill) of Trenton; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Pollmann of Drakesville, IA and Dolores "Tootsie" Weiss (Richard) of Greenville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Mater Dei Catholic High School, St. Mary Catholic Church, or donor's choice.
