It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward L. Marshall Sr. of Carlyle, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy "Red" Marshall and Beautrice Marshall (Davis); his daughter Jea Marshall; and his siblings, Cleo Davis, Jimmy Marshall, David Marshall, William Eldon Marshall and Kenneth Marshall.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Hill (Rodney) of Odin, Eddie Marshall of Centralia and Tabatha Thomas (Jeff) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Amanda Varner, Jacob Hill, Addison Tyus, Kaleb Marshall, Wyatt Marshall, Kyla Marshall, Corissa Rivera (Cris), Nathan Thomas, Mitchel Pierce and Shyann Pierce; his brother Houston "Gene" Marshall of Carlyle; and his great grandchild Kaylyn Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ed's honor to Clinton County Animal Control.
