Ed Orrell Sr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ed Orrell Sr. of Carlyle, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Mannie" Orrell and Maudine Orrell (Knutt); his wife Janet Meyer; his siblings, Ann Fields, Donna Orrell, Sherman Orrell and Butch Orrell; his brother-in-law Johnny Bob Cummins; and his nieces and nephews, Vickie Orrell and Charlie Orrell.

He is survived by: his son Ed "Tater" Orrell Jr. (Beth) of Shattuc; his grandchildren, Bethany Orrell, Josh Orrell, Joe Orrell and Jessica Orrell; his sisters, Violet Cummins and Nadine Shepard (Bob); his sister-in-law Carol Orrell; and his close friend Carla Booher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Memorials may be made in Ed's honor to Clark Cemetery and will be accepted for his family at Day Macz Funeral Home in Patoka.
