He was predeceased by: his father Larry Allen; and his stepfather Clifford Meskil. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Meskil (Meskil); his children, Kris Searcy (Shujaa) of West Frankfort, Jennifer Hamilton (Ricky) of Carlyle and Larry Allen of Keyesport; and his siblings, Connie Lowe (Brian) of Carlyle, Nancy Berning of Centralia and Eugene Allen (Lori) of Carlyle. He is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in memory of Duane are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
