Don L. Wurm Obituary
We bid farewell to Don L. Wurm of Carlyle, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 4, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Sonny" Wurm and Hazel Wurm (Nettles); his siblings-in-law, Jim Maas, Paul Hauck and Norma Hauck; and his parents-in-law, Talmadge and Mildred Outhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Wurm (Outhouse); his children, Robin Goebel (Steve) and Jeff Wurm (Cathy Strotheide); his grandsons, Zachary Goebel (Heather), Jacob Goebel (Victoria), Kevin Wurm (Lexi) and Jeremy Goebel (Tami); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Aurora, Cooper Goebel, Sophie, Owen Wurm, Griffin, Gracelyn Goebel, Nevaeh Brown and Ruby Goebel; his siblings, Beverly Sabol (Ray) and Gary Wurm (Lynne); and his sister-in-law Linda Maas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nordike Funeral Home (740 Fairfax St, Carlyle, IL 62231). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
