It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Huelsmann of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Thompson and Betty Thompson (Gross); and her sister Linda Rinne (Ronald). She is survived by: her husband Dan King; her stepchildren, April King, Trisha King (Rodney Lingle) and Robert King (Alexis); her grandchildren, Joshua Fears, Jordan Bullock, Jacob Bullock, Justin Diekmann, Nathan McNeely, Jamie King, Jenilyn King, Madison King, Ava King and Tanner King; her great grandchildren, Landon and Riley Fears; and her siblings, Bonnie Kueper (Paul), Carol Van Atter and Steve Thompson (Carolyn).
Visitation will be held at Zieren Funeral Home on Friday, September 18, 2020, from 5:00 – 8:00 P. M. All in attendance are encouraged to wear a face mask and follow social distancing recommendations.
