He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Grawe, (Niehanke) and Frank Grawe, Sr.; his wife Betty Lou Dorries; his siblings, Alvin Grawe, Frank Grawe, Jr. (Marian), Mildred Loepker (Bernie), Ethel Albers (Vince) and Gene Grawe; his parents-in-law, Millie (Sanders) and Elmer Dorries, Sr.; and his in-laws, Hank Kreke, Leroy Hanke, Jan Dorries and Elmer "Bud" Dorries, Jr. (Loretta).
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Foster (Curt), Donna Waller (Glen "Jack"), Mike Grawe (Cheryl), Ron Grawe, Kim Rakers (Mike) and Jeff Grawe (Carolyn); his siblings, Dolores "Blondie" Kreke, Bette Breiner, Jerry and Mary Grawe; and his in-laws, Verna Hanke and Clyde Dorries. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
