He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Oakley Dixon and Imogene Martin Dixon Harcarufka; his stepfather Rudolph Harcarufka; and his parents-in-law, Joseph Michalski, Shirley Ackerman and Barb Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Meyer; his children, Bryan Dixon of St. Louis and Anndrea Martignoni (Andrew, III) of Collinsville; his grandchildren, Andrew IV, Christina, Philip, Maria, Julia and Gloria Martignoni; his sister Sandra Michalski of Mobile, AL; and his parents-in-law, Jim Ackerman of Bluford, Dennis, Susan Meyer of O'Fallon, Judy, John Papendorf of Lombard, Sharon, Ted Brewer of Smithboro, Cindy and Brian Braun of Collinsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Dixon are suggested to St. Mary's Church, Knights of Columbus, Parkinson Association, Hospice of Southern Illinois (Orange North Team), or to Mater Dei High School.
