With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antoinette Thorp of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Mintert and Anton Mintert; her husband Charles Thorp (Chuck); and her siblings, Anthony, Henry, Robert, Charles Mintert, Rosemary Springer and Marge Wenger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene Peek of Plano and Denise Reiss (Robert) of Steeleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Holly Hanson (Kris), Ryan Reiss (Andrea), Daniel Peek (Hanni) and Rachel Mulholland (Chad); her great grandchildren, Georgia, Kristopher Hanson, Rylan, Rhett Reiss, Corbin and Conner Mulholland; and her brother Joseph Mintert (Dorothy) of St. Charles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
