With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin W. Reinkensmeyer of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin W. Reinkensmeyer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Reinkensmeyer and William Reinkensmeyer; his parents-in-law, George and Charlene Frueh; his sisters, Vera Harre (Wilmer) and Frieda Frederking (Eldor); and his nephew Brad Harre.

He is survived by: his former wife Mildred L. "Millie" Frueh; his wife Mildred Reinkensmeyer of Carlyle; his children, Joe Reinkensmeyer (Laura) of Carlyle and Martha Reinkensmeyer of Carlyle; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Clemens (Chris), Lizzie Twitchell (Andrew Williams), Allie Kozak (Nick) and Karleigh Twitchell; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Alice and Nora Clemens; and his in-laws, Frances and Carroll "Butch" Mollett. He is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, great-great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great-great nephews.
