He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee W. Metzger and Ethel B. Metzger (Burger); and his brother Keith Metzger. He is survived by: his spouse Aneita L. Swearingen; his children, LuAnne Hollingshead, Tom Metzger (Margie) and Dee Metzger; his grandchildren, Mindy Vitucci (Paul) of Madison, WI, Molly Struve (Tim), Mary Groth (Alex), Hunter Hollingshead and Regan Hollingshead; his great grandchildren, Jack Vitucci, Emma Vitucci, Madeleine Struve, Lorelei Struve and Josephine Groth; and his child Carlock Christian Church.
