We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023, at the age of 80, Virginia Ann Slayton of Carlinville, Illinois, born in Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dewey and Thelma Jane Graham (Deaver); and her siblings, Georgia Rice, Elsa Thomen, William Graham and Russell Graham.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Carroll Graham (Dianne) and Phyllis Carter (Gary); her children, Steve Slayton (Julie) of Fishersville, VA, Pam Winsel (Mike) of Carlinville, IL and David Edward Slayton of Lake Summerset, IL; her grandchildren, Cy Slayton, Cade Slayton, Nate Slayton, Shelby Slayton, Lauren Summers, Tyler Summers, Chelsea Williams, Cody Zeschke, John Winsel (Molly), Joel Winsel and Jarid Winsel; and her great grandchildren, Shekyra Zeschke and Oliver Williams.
