He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lounsbury and Mildred Lounsbury; his sisters, Cynthia and Corinne; his wife Barbara; his children, Pete (Cyndy) of Boise, ID, John (Dawn) and Susan (Dan) of Hygiene, CO.; and his grandchildren, Erin, Lauren, Corinne McGrady (Ian), Will (Melanie), Sam and Tom Lounsbury (Monica).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to; Alzheimer's Foundation, Carlinville Lions Club, or Carlinville Public Schools Foundation.
