She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Utt and Elsie Utt (Clevenger); her stepfather Gilbert Angelo; her brother Robert Utt; her son Stephen Peterson; and her former husband Charles "Pete" Peterson.

She is survived by: her husband Lee Remling; her sons, Brian Peterson (Allie) of Kansas City, MO, Jeffery Peterson (Lori) of Tucson, AZ and James Andrew "Andy" Peterson (Olga); and her brother John Angelo (Bobbie) of Mansfield, TX. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
