She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond "Murphy" and Helen Freytag (Eskew); and her grandson Michael Striplin. She is survived by: her husband Eldon Mitchell; her children, Cathy Parker (Mark), Cheryl Striplin and Jeff Mitchell; her grandchildren, Amanda Putnick (Jeff), Jeremy Striplin, Ryan Parker (Amanda), Chelsey Mitchell (Brent Fugate) and Zachary Mitchell; her siblings, Carol Rice (Bruce), Ronnie Freytag (Pam), Danny Freytag (Pauline) and Raymond Paul Freytag; and her pet Allie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, plant something, make the world a more beautiful place, she would love that.
