He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollo J. Qualls and Margaret Qualls (Kreoger); his wives, Betty Dawson and Arnita Qualls; and his siblings, Ralph, Raymond, Roland, James Qualls, Donna Mainwaring, Vivian King, Esther West, Grace Lair, Irene Schott and Rachel Richie.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Montgomery (Darren) of Granite City, IL; his grandson Christopher Heminghous (Samantha) of Springfield, IL; and his great grandchildren, Johnathan Heminghous, Colton Heminghous, Jaxson Heminghous and Carson Heminghous. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
