With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark S. Whitler (Carlinville, Illinois), who passed away on February 4, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Whitler and Vera Whitler (Stanton); and his brother Ralph "Bub" Whitler. He is survived by: his friends, Ray and Kay Knight; his wife Cathy Whitler of Carlinville; his daughter Michelle Walter (Jeff) of Carlinville; his stepson Ryan Homer (Desiree) of Carlinville; his son Greg Whitler (Danlee) of Carlinville; his stepdaughter Kimberly Allen (Matt) of Carlinville; his grandchildren, Lindsay Boehm (Jered), Brianna Deck (Norman), Marlee Whitler, Evee Whitler, Rori Allen, Pierce Allen and Austin Homer; and his great grandchildren, Nash Boehm, Cora Boehm and Wyatt Rose Deck.
