With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Ruth Kirkland of Carlinville, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Thompson and Jessie Mae Thompson (Thomas); her husband John W. Kirkland; her son Gregg Kirkland; and her brother Robert Thompson.
She is survived by: her son David (Deb) of Carlinville; her daughter-in-law Graci Kirkland of Allen, Texas.; her grandchildren, Blake, Matt, Gregg, Jessie (Miller) and Jaimee (Boston); her sister Karen Wills (Don) of Carlinville; and her sister-in-law Becky Thompson of Carlinville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
