He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Striplin and Lenora Striplin (Pickett); his daughter Kem Alee Striplin; and his brother Gerald Striplin. He is survived by: his wife Julie Striplin (Otken) of Carlinville, IL; his stepchildren, Natasha Scott of Mississippi, Cody Stewart of Springfield, IL, Davy Jones of Carlinville, IL and Carl Jones; and his siblings, Richard Striplin (Nancy) of Madison, KY, Charles L. Striplin of Springfield, IL, Bonnie Horn (Keith) of Lake Kaho, IL, Rhoda Vaniter (Alfred) of Gillespie, IL and Linda Large of Gillespie, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
