She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Evans and Katherine Evans; and her brother Victor. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Nix Sr. of Carlinville, IL; her children, Virgil Nix II of Oregon, William Nix of Carlinville, IL, John Nix (Dawn) of Palmyra, IL and Amy Nix of Carlinville, IL; her grandchildren, Amanda Keffer (Matt) of Metropolis, IL, Christina Nix of Gillespie, IL, Shane Nix of Carlinville, IL, Virgil Nix III of Oregon, Chalisa Pfieler (Rick) of Oregon and Katie Nix of Carlinville, IL; and her sister Brenda Gregory of Winchester, IL. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
