It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Ann Gillespie of Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Paynter and Dorothy Paynter (Wicker); and her daughter Vicky. She is survived by: her husband Jim Gillespie of Carlinville, IL; and her sons, Jim Gillespie (Jeniffer) of Virden, IL and Jeff (Stephanie) of Auburn, IL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Memorials may go to St. Paul's UCC, the ASPCA, or the family.
