We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 69, Karen Ann Hammann of Carlinville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Bernard Bergmann and Roberta Jean Agnew Bergmann; her son Leo Hammann; and her sister Denise Tullock. She is survived by: her children, Javonne Harbaugh (Kenny) of Gillespie, Pamela Russell of Carlinville, IL, Robert Russell (Dawn) of St. Louis, MO and Mark Hammann of Carlinville, IL; her grandchildren, Kyle Russell, Nick Roper, Jacob Miller, Bradley Miller, Kirstie Brown, Sebastian Russell, Stacey Wendel, David Hammann, Kayla Hammann, Elizabeth Snow, Karli Hammann, James Gillespie, III, Jonathan Gillespie and Joshua Gillespie; and her siblings, Richard Bergmann, Kenneth Knapp, Debbie Bergmann, Theresa Lindsey, Julie Knapp and Vicki Knapp. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Due to COVID 19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
