We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2020, at the age of 79, Jean Pettit of Carlinville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Caufield and Margie Caufield (Whalen); and her sister Delores Whitley. She is survived by: her husband Perry Pettit; her daughters, Glenda Pettit of Virden, IL and Lisa Miller (Randy) of Chesterfield, IL; her grandchildren, Jenna Storey, Kelsey McKinney, Frankie Glover (Shawn) and Tommy Miller (Bridget); her great grandchildren, Rylee Storey, Alexis McKinney, Beau Miller, Scout Miller and Jack Glover; and her sister Patricia Shears (Alan) of Divernon, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Dear lisa, glenda and family, sincerely sorry hearing about the passing of your mother. What a “sweetie” she was. I can still remember all the fun visits i had over at your parents home. I loved watching the loving interactions between your mother and father. You could tell they were best friends as well as loved each other so much, but could both hold their own if they needed to if they thought they were right in an argument.
