With solemn reverence, we commemorate James A. Ward of Carlinville, Illinois, whose life came to an end on December 9, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Ward and Alethea "Pat" Ward (Patton); and his siblings, Mary Micklus and Michael Ward. He is survived by: his brothers, Ed Ward of Carlinville, IL and Joseph Ward of Cheyenne, WY. He is also survived by 6 cousins, numerous nieces, nephews & great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home (260 Woodlawn Dr, Carlinville, IL 62626). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery (17224 Prarie Lawn Rd, Carlinville, IL 62626).
