He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cox (Andy) and Dorothy Cox (Fricker); his wife Wilma J. Kahl of Shipman; his siblings, Fred Cox, Jim Cox, Robert Cox and Thelma Schall; and his son-in-law Donald Simons.
He is survived by: his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Angie Cox of Plainview; his daughters, Lisa (Barry Reno) and Jodi Simons of Plainview; his grandchildren, Jarrett, Amanda Cox, Benjamin, Joseph Reno, Colton, Zachary and Connor Simons; and his brother Don Cox of Carlinville, Illinois.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Carlinville Moose Lodge or the Carlinville Area Hospital Foundation.
