It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George William Eichen (Carlinville, Illinois), who passed away on August 10, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Eichen and Grace Eichen (Douglas); his wife Betty Jean Barnett; his son Terry Eichen; his brothers, Willard and Harold Eichen; his grandchildren, Heather Eichen and Jon Butler; and his children-in-law, Richard O'Donnell, Doug Eley, Kenneth Hammann and Clara Eichen.

He is survived by: his children, Don Eichen, Jerry Eichen, Linda Hammann and Grace Eley; and his siblings, Charles and Imogene. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Memorials may go to Carlinville Food Pantry.
