With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Woods of Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2022 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Woods to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Coy Anderson and Irene Anderson (Bloome); her spouse W. Meade Woods; her son Dennis Woods; her daughter-in-law Toni Woods; and her brothers, Leland, Eldon and Dean Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, David Woods (Suzy) of Springfield, IL, Peggy LeVora (Tom) of Bloomington, IN and Keith Woods (Ann) of Carlinville, IL; her grandchildren, Ben Woods (Kristin), Mark Woods (Sarah), Matt LeVora (Jenny), Sara Johnson (Mike), Rachael Macropoulos (Rob) and Adam Woods (Leslie); and her sister-in-law Mary Anderson of Altamont, IL. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
Due to concerns over Covid, a private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Macoupin County Fair or Carlinville Area Hospital.
