With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene L. Maguire of Carlinville, Illinois, who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Maguire and Martha Maguire; his son Jeff Maguire; and his siblings, Jack, Dick, Jerry Maguire and Patricia Olhuin.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Cindy Maguire and Greg Maguire (Sally) of Carlinville, IL; his grandchildren, Cody Maguire and Ali Maguire; and his sister Carole Britenstine of Virden, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Macoupin County Animal Shelter.
