We bid farewell to Elaine Lucille Brockmeier of Carlinville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Elaine Lucille touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Fones and Velma Crays Fones; her husband Robert Carl Brockmeier; and her sister Joyce Ann Spann. She is survived by: her children, Robert Brockmeier (Becky) of Carlinville, IL, Beth Ann Brockmeier of Carlinville, IL, Carla Brockmeier (Dan Fleming) of Carlinville, IL and William Brockmeier of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Nathan Brockmeier (Megan), Jamie Schnieders (Sam), Erin Emmons (Brandon) and Jack Boehm (Jensie Stults); and her brother Jerry Fones (Butch). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (202 E Main St, Carlinville, IL 62626). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled or St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
