He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ray and Carolyn Ray (Henecke); his sister Elizabeth Mellinger; his uncle Harry Hardman; his nephew Craig Nabb; and his niece Gracy Ray.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Deana Jones; his sons, Eddie Ray (Nikki) of Carlinville, IL and Cole Ray of Carlinville, IL; his girlfriend's children, Michael Jones of Columbus, OH and Izzy McCarthy of Carlinville, IL; his granddaughters, Bailey Ray and Emma Ray; his brother Timmothy Ray (Wendy) of Springfield, IL; his aunt Cathy Hardman of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his uncle Chuck Henecke of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
