He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Stayton and Lucille Stayton (Greenwalt); his sister Helen V. Stayton; and his sons, Douglas Stayton and Reggi Stayton.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Stayton (Laurie) of Sun Lakes, AZ and Karla Gray (John) of Creedmoor, TX. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
