She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Rosentreter and Christina Rosentreter (Bomkamp); her husband Edward Leo Kalaher; and her sisters, Margaret Bloome and Louise Woods.

She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Arnett (Don) of Carlinville, IL, Shirley Rodgers (Larry) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Edward L. Kalaher Jr. (Kay) of Carlinville, IL; her grandchildren, Michelle Niermann (Steve) of North Liberty, IA, Julie Behme (Jeff) of Carlinville, IL, Elizabeth Daniels of Bloomington, IL, Patrick Kalaher (Becki) of Carlinville, IL and Chris Daniels (Sloan) of Bloomington, IL; and her brothers, Vic, Elmer, Walt and Ed Rosentreter. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 Virus private family services will be held at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville with burial in New Calvary Cemetery.
