He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Robert Rutherford and Dorothy "Dickey" Rutherford; his sister Jill Lambert; and his stepson Trevor Walton. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his siblings, Paul, Jack Rutherford and Ann Goetzel; his children, Ty Rutherford (Donna) of Gillespie, IL, Lisa Rans (Rich) of Austin, TX and Angi Voss (Matt) of Baltimore, MD; his stepchildren, Rodney Walton (Lisa) of Walterville, OR, Adrian Walton (Amy) of Carlinville, Damon Walton (Becky) of Carlinville and Shawna Veydt (Michael) of Venetia, PA; and his grandchildren, Jesse Rutherford (Hayley), Riley Craig (Keegan), Alexander Voss, Griffin, Beckett, Nolan Rans, Rihanna, Macalla Walton, Lauren Swainston, Aidan Walton, Camryn Joseph (John), Chloe Walton, Carly Stewart (Brendan), Cory Walton, Will Walton, Matthew Veydt, Emma, Adam and Nick Walton.
In lieu of donations the family asks that people simply do a good deed for someone less fortunate than themselves.
