He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Knepler and Beulah Knepler (Wells); his wife Gwendolyn Entwistle; his son Benjamin Knepler; and his grandsons, Jeremy Laird and Ryan Knepler.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Smith (Dale) of Palmyra, Clarence John Knepler (Marivic) of San Diego, CA and JoAnn Knepler of Thayer; and his sister Beulah Anne Singleton of Coulterville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
