She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bown and Frances Bown (Hicks); and her son Jere Stiller. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Ashley Turner (Aaron) of Springfield, IL and Rachael Maurer (Danny) of Springfield, IL; and her sister Arlene Ward of Carlinville, IL.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID virus, the family chose to have her services private.

Memorials may be made to Elks Crippled Children Fund.
