It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Louise Harris (Carlinville, Illinois), who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jay Earl and Rosie Emelia Bilyeu (Lawonn); her father-in-law Fred W. Dodd; her son Eddie Eugene Dodd; her parent-in-law J. W. Harris; her daughter Kimberly Kay; her brothers, Eddie and Dean Bilyeu (Patty) of Springfield; her granddaughters, Kelli Dodd of Avon and Haleah Butler; her stepson Paul Harris (Carol) of Rochester; her stepgrandsons, Scott Harris of Carlinville and Justin Harris of Rochester; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Dodd of Dawson; and her stepgrandson Clinton Lay of Springfield. She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Carrie's life will be held when the weather is warmer and social distancing is no longer required.
