She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred A. Powell and Bertha Powell (Hanner); her husband George W. Cravens; her son George Michael Cravens; and her siblings, Charles F. Powell, Robert E. Powell and Jacquelyn "Jackie" S. Frakes (Kevin).

She is survived by: her son James G. Cravens of Louisville, KY; her siblings, Dr. Barbara J. Powell of Overland Park, KS., Patricia L. Hunt of Hiawassee, GA, Judith A. Harms (Phillip) of Carlinville, IL and David A. Powell of Carlinville, IL; her grandchildren, Shane M. Cravens (Kelli), Crystal D. Horner (Cravens) of Petersburg, IL, Jeramie J. Cravens of Naples, FL and Kristi A.; and her stepgrandchild Thomas Hansen of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Carlinville High School music Department.
