She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Spencer and Susan Spencer (Pitchford); and her husband Howard "Shorty" Clevenger. She is survived by: her siblings, Charles, Marie and Virginia; and her children, Albert "Pete" Stults of Bluffton, IN, Patricia Stevens (Raymond Turner) of Roodhouse, IL, Carla Macrander of Jacksonville, IL, George Rowe of Springfield, IL, Clint Rowe (Marie) of San Antonio, TX and Carrie Daugherty of Carlinville, IL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty was a long time member of Charity Baptist Church in rural Carlinville and most of all loved her children and grandchildren.
