She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Carleton and Viola Carleton (Hovgaard); her husband William Edgar Meece; her daughter Judy Mae Bentley; and her brother William Carleton.

She is survived by: her children, William Kenneth Meece (Becky) of Carlinville, IL, Susie Pentland of Australia and Peggy Ward of Florida. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
