She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Mayes and Ida Mayes (Ferris); and her husband David Walter. She is survived by: her daughter Courtney Shepard (Jason) of Girard, IL; her grandchildren, River Mercer (Kim) of Tiffany Mercer, D. J and Tyler Shepard; her great grandchild Tate Crifasi; and her sisters, Betty Mayes of Eastland, TX and Rose Helm of Eastland, TX. She is also survived by 2 nieces, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
