It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thornton Douglass of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Frank and Hattie Mae Douglass; his wife Mariann Clark; his daughter Donna Brandt (David); his granddaughters, Katie Fischer (Jeremy) and Kari Firak (John); his great grandchildren, Owen, Etta, Max and Lola; and his daughter Linda Vogenthaler.
