He is survived by: his wife Ellen Cox; his children, Tamara Scharlach of Carbondale, IL and Tim Scharlach (Denise) of Hoopeston, IL.; his siblings, Sharon Martin (Paul) of Normal, IL and Bob Scharlach (Cheryl) of Prescott, AZ; his grandchildren, Terra Kinney (Ben), Asti Larkin (Ethan), Zachary Beavers, Avery and Haleigh Scharlach; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Kinney, Wrinley Larkin and Grayson Beavers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
