We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Stanley A. Schneider in Carbondale, Illinois, born in Hermann, Missouri. Though Stanley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stanley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Schneider and Lucilda Schneider-Monroe (Nolting); his brother Kenny Schneider; and his nephew Kevin Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Schneider (Schaumburg); his sons, Brian, Darrick (Mindy), Shaun (Megan) and Keith; and his niece Kristin Jensen (Schneider). He is also survived by five grandsons and one granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meredith Funeral Home (300 S University Ave, Carbondale, IL 62901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hagler Cemetery.
