With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Kathleen Lavender of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Charles and Naomi Ballard (McKenzie); her daughters, Rebecca Kaye Clifford and Judith Gail Lavender; and her siblings, Bob Ballard, Charles "Porky" Ballard, Gary Ballard and Grace Ann Cole.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Lavender; her children, Aaron (Barbara Lavender) of Ava, Matthew and Heather Lavender of Carterville; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler, Cody, Austin, Hannah, Dustin and Devin; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Ann, Layla, Corbin and Taylin Rose.
